Great experience. Literally v the last stop before the park, you could walk to the entrance of you liked. Rings were clean, and the staff made sure things were easy for us. Highly recommended. Cabin, shower, comfy bed, microwave and refrigerator. Id call it glamping

As a solo female traveler, I felt safe. The place is very close to Mt. Rainier National Park. The room was big as well. The cons are 1. The bed and sink had hair 2. The pillows had no life left in them 3. There were spider webs and spider by shower. The room IS nice. If only they would switch the bed sheets and get new pillows.

We stayed one night before going snowshoeing in Mt Rainer. We did not have a reserva and arrived quite late, and they still accommodated us with our camper in the RV area. Will definite come back, very nice people!

Rating depends on your expectation. I give 5-star for what I am looking for. We checked in at 6 pm. Visited the reflection lake to watch the sunset and came back down late at night to sleep. Went back to the NP at 6 am the next morning. In summary: its the closest to Mt. Rainier NP without having to pay for a premium and limited lodging inside the park. Convenient access to the NP after hours (i.e. free entrance). You can sleep up to 6 in a cabin. Great staff service. Very nice owner who's operated this place since 1989.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel, but I had a great nights sleep, the room fit my family of five comfortably. Shower was more than acceptable and it’s literally right next to the Mt Rainier entrance. Would recommend

My sisters and I stayed one night before our trip into Mt. Ranier National Park. We were greeted very warmly by the young man at the desk and shown where our room was. The room was very comfortable with three bedrooms, a gathering area, and a bathroom. The bathroom had new fixtures and everything was very clean. This is not a five-star resort, so our expectations were not high. What mattered to me was that things were clean, and they were. The only complaint we had was that there was no air flow in the bedrooms unless you opened a window. There was only an AC unit in the gathering area. The place is so convenient to the park, it was very worth it. We arrived, we relaxed, we slept, and we left. It was all good.

We loved the cabin, it was clean and newly remodeled (or brand new). The beds had comfortable mattresses, AC, heat, refrigerator, TV etc. Gateway is in an ideal location, literally feet from Mount Rainier's entrance. The service was good, free ice bags for our ice chest Also, the units were set back from the road and after dark it was quiet.

We booked an RV site, then read how awful they are. Decided to give it a try since it's literally feet from the park entrance. We were skeptical when we arrived. Yes...there are only 8 spaces and they are on the road. Receptionist told us to 'pick a spot'. 27' trailer, so we took #4. Spaces are close together, but #4 is wide, very level (even though you're on the grass), easy back in. We also got wifi about an hour of trying and it was consistent. Noise was minimal into the evening , but we never felt exposed. We recommended it!

had one of the 5 "Premium Cabins". Comfortable, Clean, great location to go in and out of the park. Tight spaces with RV's but everyone was nice and it was a pleasant stay. No close amenities so plan on driving a bit. There is a small microwave and room enough outside that camping stove cooking would also be a good option.
